Soften Your Senses
I have recently become more aware of my bodily tendencies and habitual reactions. Amidst any increased tension & rapidity within our days, I have noticed that many of us hastily walk around with furled brows, rigid lips, and curled hands. Our bodies react to the disorientation of our nature, becoming a host to the layers of strain in our minds. This not only takes an individual toll but also a collective one, affecting and creating boundaries against all with whom we come in contact . . .
This week, I urge you to soften your senses to soften your boundaries. Take the time to refine your relationship with yourself by noticing your habitual mental and physical patterns. Allow the time to grant your body the silence through which it can navigate the freedom to release the tension stored in the crevices of your mind. Unfurl your brows, soften your gaze, connect to your own heart. Locate space within your being to create a space of sacredness between those you interact with. Soften the corners of your mouth, smile. Heighten your senses to unearth deeper receptivity towards yourself & others . . .
