Dog-Friendly Grain-free Fig & Banana Bread
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius)
In a large bowl, blend together the eggs and honey until silky. Then add the remaining wet ingredients of bananas, fig jam, apple cider vinegar, nut or seed butter, and coconut oil.
Add the dry ingredients of baking soda, cream of tartar, tapioca or arrowroot flour, cinnamon, and allspice to blend again.
Scoop out into a loaf pan greased with coconut oil or lined with compostable parchment paper to bake for 30 minutes or until a pierced knife comes out clean.
Let cool 10 minutes before flipping onto a cooling rack, letting it rest until cool to touch before serving.
This remains fresh at room temperature for two days and refrigerated an extra four days, that is if your dog doesn’t eat it all on day one.
